Lori Adelson


Lori Adelson is a partner in Arnstein & Lehr’s Fort Lauderdale office. She is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group and Commercial Litigation Practice Group. She places special emphasis on employment law and complex commercial/business litigation including non-compete litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Adelson has had several significant reported cases and has published numerous articles and has been a lecturer in the field of labor and employment law for the past 10 years. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 1990 and received her JD degree from Hofstra University Law School in 1999.

Ms. Adelson also consults with businesses on commercial and real estate matters, including ADA and FHA accessibility and compliance issues. She also counsels and advises employers on a wide array of human resources issues, including compensation and benefits, personnel policies and procedures, discipline and discharge matters, employee privacy rights, and education and training programs for employees, managers, and supervisors.

Professional Activities and Achievements

Ms. Adelson is a member of The Florida Bar, The Broward County Bar Association and serves as a member of the Bench-Bar Committee and the Bench-Bar Convention Committee. She is also a member of the Federal Bar Association, Labor and Employment Section, a member of Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), and a member of the Human Resources Association of Broward County (HR ABC). She is also a member of the board of directors of the Jewish Federation of Broward County, a member of the Women’s Executive Council and serves on the Agency Relations Committee. She is also a member of the board of directors of Commercial Real Estate Women of Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beach. Ms. Adelson was named a “Rising Star 2010” by Florida Super Lawyers
