Thad A. Felton and Mark F. Miller write article for Law360 on tips for selling a business

Arnstein & Lehr Chicago Partner Mark F. Miller and Thad A. Felton wrote an article for the September 21 issue of Law360, titled “A Roadmap To Selling Your Business.” The article discusses the challenges faced by a business owner who wants to sell their business to a potential buyer, a “roadmap” of what to expect in the process of selling, and how to protect their business during this period. Mr. Felton and Mr. Miller give specific guidance regarding finding a buyer, nondisclosure agreements, letters of intent, disputes, and earn outs. They also suggest working with experienced advisors prior to putting the business on the market and at all stages of the sale process.
