Partner

Mr. Grelle is a partner and co-chair of our Firm's Business and Transactions practice group. He has been a member of Arnstein & Lehr since 1985. He has more than 25 years of experience in business and real estate law, and tax and estate planning. He has substantial experience counseling mid-size and closely-held businesses as to corporate structuring and transactions, including financing, contractual arrangements, business ownership succession planning and asset protection planning. His experience also includes the formation and structuring of partnerships, Subchapter S Corporations, limited liability companies and other entity forms of conducting business. Recently, he assisted a client with the acquisition of the assets of a locally based, internationally recognized pet products company. The transaction was initially closed with working capital funding from a west coast asset-based lender and seller interim funding, with the seller interim funding being subsequently replaced with venture capital funding. He also recently assisted a client with the acquisition of the business of a New England-based U.S. subsidiary of a United Kingdom surveillance company.
