Nicole A. Gross
Associate

After successfully completing the Firm’s Summer Associate Program in 2005, Ms. Gross joined Arnstein & Lehr as an associate in the Litigation group upon her graduation from law school. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Gross was a law clerk where she assisted in the preparation of various trials related to insurance defense. She also worked in the financial services industry as a bilingual business associate, where she was qualified as an Investment Company/Variable Contracts Limited Representative (Series 6 License) and a Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63 License).


Ms. Gross handles a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract claims, insurance coverage disputes, consumer fraud claims, products liability actions, various employment law issues, bankruptcy, municipal law, and matters involving real property.

Professional Activities and Achievements

While in law school, Ms. Gross was a member of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), and also served as an Executive Board member during the 2003-04 and 2004-05 school years. Ms. Gross received the CALI Award for Trial Advocacy, Genetics & The Law, and Civil Litigation Legal Writing while at Chicago-Kent. In addition, she was the recipient of the Chicago-Kent Certificate of Service for outstanding commitment to community service.


Ms. Gross co-authored "The Ins and Outs of Hiring and Investigating Employees," 2007 CFinsider, Issue 2. She also contributed to an article entitled, "Discovery and Expert Issues in Employment Cases." Ms. Gross is a current member of the Black Women's Lawyers Association, as well as the American, Chicago, and Illinois Bar Associations.
