W. Hardeman, Jr.
Partner
Mr. Hardeman is a partner in the Miami office. He focuses
his practice on insurance and corporate defense, including
medical malpractice, products liability, personal injury and
wrongful death.
Professional Activities and Achievements
Mr. Hardeman is a member of the Florida Bar Association, and
the Product Liability Advisory Council. He is a member of
the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel where he has
chaired the medical malpractice section and currently serves
on the drug, device and biotechnology section and the
product liability section.
He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and
holds the rank of Diplomate. He is past president of the
Miami Chapter of ABOTA.
Mr. Hardeman has tried over 200 jury trials as lead counsel.
These cases have involved automobile accidents, premises
liability, medical malpractice and products liability issues
including mass tort claims in the breast implant pedicle
screw and latex glove litigation.
Mr. Hardeman served as a Lieutenant in the Armor Branch of
the U.S. Army and served a tour of combat in Vietnam.
Mr. Hardeman has also been a Continuing Legal Education
lecturer and guest lecturer at University of Florida School
of Law Trial advocacy Program. He was also selected as a
Leading American Attorney in the area of Personal Injury
Defense Law.
