Norman
P. Jeddeloh
Partner
Mr. Jeddeloh is a Partner in the Litigation Group of
Arnstein & Lehr LLP. He has an established complex
litigation practice in the areas of education law, health
care law, labor and intellectual property. He is experienced
in mass tort litigation in the medical device area. He
serves or has served as outside general counsel to numerous
mid-size and smaller companies an HMO and a pharmaceutical
company. He also represents numerous physician groups and
professional associations. Mr. Jeddeloh has worked in
private practice in Chicago since 1985. Prior to that time,
he served in various positions in the University of Illinois
Counsel’s Office in Chicago and as Staff Counsel for the
American Medical Association. He is also Chair of the firm’s
Higher Education Law Group.
Professional Activities and Achievements
Mr. Jeddeloh has served since 1977 as Assistant Professor at
the University of Illinois School of Public Health. Since
1985 he has served as a Legal Advisor to Hospital Risk
Management in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a former Chair of the
Health and Hospital Law Committee of the Chicago Bar
Association and is a member of the National Health Lawyers
Association. He has served as Co-Chair of the Health
Sciences Section of the National Association of College and
University Attorneys.

Mr. Jeddeloh has published extensively. He is the author of

Ostensible Agency Doctrine: More to the Point than Darling,”
published in Hospital Law; and “Use of Arbitration in
the Health Care Industry: Nonlabor Matters,” published in
the Journal of Health and Hospital Law.
