Loretta Comiskey O’Keeffe
Partner

Ms. O’Keeffe is a Partner in Arnstein & Lehr’s Litigation group where she concentrates her practice in areas of premises liability and commercial litigation, including disputes regarding real estate, construction, corporations, contracts, insurance and collections. As Bar Counsel for The Florida Bar’s Unlicensed Practice of Law Department from 1995 to 2005, Ms. O’Keeffe was involved in investigating and prosecuting unlicensed practice of law complaints in southwest Florida. Additionally, she has provided pro bono services to the Hillsborough County Domestic Violence Project. Ms. O’Keeffe has been a frequent speaker at bar meetings, civic organizations, and paralegal associations concentrating on matters of the unlicensed practice of law and the use of paralegals and legal assistants with emphasis in the area of consumer protection and law office management.


Professional Activities and Achievements

Ms. O’Keeffe is a member of the Hillsborough County and Florida Bar Associations. She is also a member of J. Clifford Cheatwood Inn of Court. Ms. O’Keeffe was awarded the 2004 Hillsborough County Bar Have a Heart Award for pro bono service. She was also a volunteer at the Bay Area Legal Services and St. Petersburg Community Law Program and a grant reviewer for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
