Kellie Y. Chen is an associate in the Chicago office of Arnstein & Lehr LLP and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Chen works primarily on employment and general commercial litigation matters. She has experience writing pleadings and responses for general litigation matters and has represented clients at hearings in the circuit courts of Cook County, Kane County and DuPage County. During law school, she gained experience interviewing and counseling Cabrini Green Legal Aid clients and their case managers as a Criminal Records Corp Team Leader in Chicago. Prior to joining Arnstein & Lehr, she worked at a prominent Chicago law firm, where she handled a broad range of commercial and employment litigation matters.
Ms. Chen graduated from the Northwestern University School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2015. She served as the executive production editor at the Northwestern Journal of International Human Rights and participated as an ESL writing coach for Northwestern’s LLM ESL Tutoring Program, helping students to hone their legal writing skills. Prior to obtaining her Juris Doctorate, Ms. Chen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies at the University of Michigan, graduating with high honors.
