Mary Hoelle is a partner in the Miami office of Arnstein & Lehr LLP. She is a member of the Litigation and Product Liability practice groups.
Ms. Hoelle’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, civil litigation and product liability. She represents large corporate clients in multimillion dollar disputes. Her experience includes representing both domestic and foreign litigants before U.S. and foreign courts. Additionally, Ms. Hoelle has experience litigating issues of jurisdiction and forum non conveniens in both federal and Florida state courts. She has handled numerous international discovery requests through the Hague Convention on the Taking of Evidence Abroad in Civil or Commercial Matters. Ms. Hoelle’s practice incorporates cross-border issues specifically involving Latin America and Mexico.
Ms. Hoelle has represented clients in disputes before the American Arbitration Association. She has extensive experience in issues related to electronic discovery in federal and state courts. Ms. Hoelle has also successfully represented clients before various Florida appellate courts.
Ms. Hoelle received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She served as a Presidential Management Intern in Washington, D.C. before obtaining her Juris Doctorate from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Hoelle is a member of The Florida Bar and previously served as vice chair of its Committee on Professionalism. She is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. Ms. Hoelle is a member of the International Law Section and Trial Lawyer’s Section of The Florida Bar, the Dade County Bar Association and American Bar Association. She serves as chair of Florida International University’s President’s Council Board and also serves on the University’s Foundation Board of Directors. Ms. Hoelle has an AV preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. She also is fluent in Spanish.
