Firm hosts Women Business
Leaders Networking Lunch
July 13, 2007 | Chicago
On
Wednesday, July 11, Arnstein & Lehr presented Cheryle Jackson, CEO
and president of the Chicago Urban League, with the Arnstein &
Lehr LLP 2007 Woman of Vision Award at the Women Business Leaders
Networking Lunch. The event was held at Fulton’s on the River and
sponsored by the firm’s Diversity Committee.
“It was truly an honor to be the recipient of Arnstein & Lehr’s
first Woman of Vision Award,” said Jackson. “When women come
together and support each other, it creates a powerful energy; an
energy that reminds you that you can do anything. The support of
many women is helping me to carry out my vision. Again, I want to
thank Cynde Munzer of Arnstein & Lehr for all of her hard work and
all of the ladies who attended the luncheon,” she adds.
Attendees were invited by the firm’s attorneys, and many of the
women attorneys attended the event, including
Stephanie Kim,
Kathleen Lach,
Laura Lau,
Joy Levy,
Molly Mackey,
Cynde Munzer,
Andrea Siskovic,
Sharilee Kempa Smentek,
Miriam Stein, and
Elizabeth Wei.
Over 100 women from across the Chicago area attended the event,
including City Treasurer Stephanie Neeley. Other women in
attendance included executives in government, law, health care,
business, and education.
