Arnstein & Lehr LLP Sponsoring National Hellenic Museum's Trial of the Parthenon Marbles
March 14, 2017
Arnstein & Lehr LLP is proud to sponsor THE TRIAL OF THE PARTHENON MARBLES being presented on March 16 by The National Hellenic Museum. The trial will offer perspectives on an important cultural case – should the Parthenon Marbles return to Greece or remain at the British Museum? Expert witnesses will present evidence and then proceed to be cross-examined by trial attorneys.
Several Arnstein attorneys have been involved in this event. Partner Konstantinos Armiros is Chair of the Trial of the Parthenon Marbles Event Committee and a museum trustee. On March 9, Mr. Armiros discussed the upcoming trial on WGN Radio and CLTV alongside trial attorney Tinos Diamantatos with hosts Anna Davlantes and Roe Conn. Partner Nancy DePodesta will be participating as a juror, and associate Anne Coghlan prepared the CLE materials (1.5 hours of credit will be offered).
The trial will be taking place at 6:30 p.m. in the Rubloff Auditorium at The Art Institute of Chicago. This is the fourth event in The National Hellenic Museum’s trial series. Tickets are still available here.
